Expressive and graceful, the 2012 Head in The Clouds is saturated, yet bright ruby/purple in color. Sourced from our best vineyards, (Moulds Family, Martinez and the one that gives us our Cemetery Cabernet Sauvignon), it is loaded with aromas of violets, white pepper, toasty vanilla oak and butter pastry. This is an elegant yet energetic wine with flavors of blueberry, juicy blackberry and eucalyptus that are held together in a “Napa Cabernet kind-of-way” by the velvety tannins, right through to the sweet spiced plum and tobacco finish.
