Voluminous and Decadently Rich this Barossa Shiraz is loaded with class. Spectacular color displaying an impenetrable midnight black core with the inky black hue just as deep and saturated. Intoxicating aromas of licorice, dark ripe plums and blackberries interlaced with traces of dark chocolate soar from the glass followed by vanilla cedar and spice. Decadently rich and opulent flavors of dark plums, blackberries, licorice and dark chocolate cascade across the expansive palate with underlying nuances of vanilla, oak and spice also present. Velvety tannin with the wines superb richness perfectly foiled by the acid/tannin structural balance. Lavishly textured, plush mouthfeel, finishing with an exceptionally long aftertaste of ripe blackberries, licorice, dark plums, subtle dark chocolate and vanilla spice.
